Batik (to make dots) is a wax resists dyeing technique, which we will explore more in future posts. The origins remain unknown, but its known that the island of Java brought this art to the highest level. Being influenced by many cultures like: Chinese, Dutch and Arabian amongst others, Batik inspired many fashion designers untill today.
