Chinese born, American architect whose design for this museum was inspired, influenced by: Modernism, Cubist compositions and Ancient Islamic Architecture. The 13th century “ablutions fountain” of the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo, Egypt was of great inspiration for his final design.
