Dolce & Gabbana AW13 collection (2013) by: Domenico Dolce (1958) and Stefano Gabbana (1962)

Their 2013 autumn collection was inspired, influenced by Byzantine and Venetian mosaics, and mainly the patterns and mosaics of the 12th century cathedral in the city of Monreale. The Byzantine era (ca. 330 – 1453) was highly influenced by Persian and Islamic arts and science and in a lesser degree of Chinese influence.
