I want to capture something unique and take my audience into a world of magical fantasy
How would you describe your style?
Depending on how I feel at the time as well as the theme of the shoot, I like to play with white balance and color using post production work, sometimes I like to make my shoots look ambiguously timeless. I also like to work around with the theme of gender and contrast so the models I use are often androgynous ambiguous and glamorous”
Favorite tools to create your work?
I use a Canon 60D and I use it for digital shoots and Pentax K1000 for analog shoots

I am of Hong Kong Chinese and Russian/Jewish heritage , a British and Hong Kong citizen. I grew up between England, Spain and Hong Kong. I have also lived in Finland, Iceland and Berlin and now living in Mexico City. I am a quintessential third culture kid
In terms of ethnicity / culture / identity how would you describe yourself?
Genderfluid, Multiracial , Multicultural
What aspects of your culture are most important to you?
I take pride of my unique upbringing. However like a cultural sponge, I tend to identify with the culture that surrounds me depending on the geographical location I’m in . The eastern culture has taught me to be humble and mindfulness and the western part has taught me openness and the art of self expression and individuality. The time I’ve spent in scandinavia have inspired me to reconnect with mother nature.
Has your cultural background influenced your life/ and or work – hobbies? And if it did could you give some examples?
Not really, even if it does reflect it’s not intentional. My work is inspired by universe, nature and identity , which is universal.
In what language do you dream?
English.
Earliest Memory?
I used to pretend to be sleeping so I wouldn’t have to walk. Does that count? 🙂
Growing up you …
I have always been aware that I am ”different” and was treated as such. Like most kids I went through a phrase of trying to fit in which didn’t quite well. But then I have learned to embrace being different, which have become a part of my identity.

I am scared of Bikes! A minor biking accident at the age of 13 has prevented me from getting on one since then.

Electronic Gadget and vegetable
What inspires you?
Good cause, nature, equality
Currently working on?
Mostly procrastinating
Best advice you’ve ever received?
Do what you are passionate about, do not take up s a regular 9-5 job that you don’t like coz you feel like you have to. Travel ,you have to see the world !
What are you listening to at the moment?
The electronic circus – Direct lines
If you ruled the world what would you do?
If I am to rule the world, the system will be redesigned – institutional racism and patriarchy that ran deep in our society will be diminished, everyone will be treated as an equal regardless of their gender, ethnic origin , class, sexual orientation and religion. I will build an economy that works for the common good. The rich will not be favored , bankers who commit bank crimes will be sent to jail. Multiculturalism will be encouraged, there wont be borders between countries -everyone will be given a global passport and will be able to travel freely. Animal consumption will be cut down into a minimal, veganism will be encouraged. I will focus in protecting the environment from climate change, investing in sustainable energy and fight pollution at a minimal cause.
